Prof. Sylvanus N. Wosu

Prof. Sylvanus N. Wosu has served higher education for more than 27 years and is deeply devoted in transformative leadership, mentoring, discipleship, and global diversity leadership. He is currently an Associate Dean for Diversity Affairs and a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science at the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering. He earned his PhD in Engineering Physics. Professor Wosu is the founder of Kanmas Leadership Institute (KLI) and the author of  several books in the subject of transformational leadership, including: The Leader as Servant Leadership Model: The Laws of Integrative, Transformative Leadership,  Relational Mentorship,  and Relational Service Leadership, He is dedicated to the process of leaders becoming forces for change, transformative figures for themselves, their followers, and their organizations,  and leaders enabled to  empower relational connections that build global enterprises.

Dr. Nosakhere Griffin-EL

Dr. Nosakhere Griffin-EL is the President of The Dreamocracy Learning Lab and Founder of The Young Dreamers’ Book Club. His work focuses on creating innovative programming, content, and initiatives to inspire children to view reading as a tool to create and build their dreams. He was awarded the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s Community Advocate of the Year Award for his work in the early childhood literacy. Dr Griffin-EL’s  research has contributed to the advancement of this framework. He has led community forums and workshops, taught international master classes, and been featured in the TEDx Event held at the University of Cape Town, in which he discussed the power of dreaming to assist in the development of a better world. He earned his M.Ed. in School Leadership, and Ph.D. in Social and Comparative Analysis in Education, both from the University of Pittsburgh

Prof. Leonard W Casson

Prof. Leonard W Casson, Ph.D., P.E., BCEE, ENV SP will facilitate the Environmental Impact Assessment, Sustainability and Resilience workshop. Dr. Casson is an Associate Professor of Environmental Engineering and Undergraduate Coordinator in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Casson received B.E. and M.S. degrees from Vanderbilt University in 1980 and 1982, respectively. He received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 1987.  Dr. Casson is a registered Professional Engineer in Florida and Pennsylvania. Dr. Casson is also a Board Certified Environmental Engineer (BCEE) in the specialty of Water Supply and Wastewater by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers. Recently, he was credentialed as an Envision Sustainability Professional by the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure. Dr. Casson’s research interests include the adsorption, fate, transport and transformation of chemicals, particles and environmental pathogens in unit operations and the natural environment. Previous research includes investigating the presence and viability of HIV and Ebola in wastewater systems. His ongoing research has focused on novel disinfection technologies, sustainability and resilience applied to water treatment/distribution systems and wastewater collection/treatment systems

Prof. Eliada Wosu-Griffin-EL

Prof. Eliada Wosu-Griffin-EL is ae Professor of Management and Entrepreneur-ship and Director of Center of Entrepreneurship at Robert Morris University (RMU), Pittsburgh PA. Before joining RMU, she was an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at University of Cape Town (UCT) Graduate School of Business (GSB), where she also directed UCT Bertha Center for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Her research explores the network-based ecosystems and innovative activity of social and micro- entrepreneurship in emerging markets. She seeks to understand how an organization’s network among institutional, community, and entrepreneurial actors influences entrepreneurship and innovation. Professor Griffin- EL is co-editor of the book, The Business of Social and Environmental Innovation: New Frontiers in Africa (Springer Publishers, 2015). She received her PhD and Masters in Public Policy and International Development from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, and Bachelor Degree in Political Economics from Yale University. She will lead KLI Emerging Economy and Entrepreneurship training .

Dr. Enefaa N. Wosu

Dr. Enefaa N. Wosu is the Co-Founder, President and CFO of Kanmas Educational Sup-port Center, Inc, and Founder and President of Wosu CPA and Associates. She has broad business education training and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed in the states of Louisiana, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. She earned her Doctorate in Information Systems and Communications. Dr. Wosu has over 20 years of non-profit accounting and consulting experiences and has held high level financial management position in non-profit organizations. Her previous professional life include staff accountant at Urban League of Greater New Orleans and served as the Fiscal Director of YWCA. Dr. Wosu will lead KLI team of educators and trainers in Management, Accounting, and Financial services
